Chantelle - Director + Strategy & Marketing Geek

I found marketing around age 12, helping out in my parents' business. That's led to a career in marketing and, in 2006, my own consulting firm.

My background isn't marketing-only: a Business Management degree majoring in French and international marketing, agency years in Auckland and London, and time inside my father's business as he scaled it internationally. Call it an organic MBA.

It means I can sit across the table and talk business strategy, margins and growth levers with you, not just campaigns, and that's the gap most marketing-only people can't fill.

A bit more on my background:

Bachelor of International Management, majored in French and international marketing.
University-level Spanish, by correspondence and a month's immersion in Puebla, Mexico.
Learning Italian thanks to my half-Italian husband.
Started my marketing career in 1989 at Gallagher Power Fence Systems, part-time while studying.
Worked in advertising agencies in Auckland and London before returning home in 2000.
RYA Qualified Windsurf Instructor, Tauranga Windsports Inc (TWI) Club committee member.
Vinyl collector and DJ (aka DeepC) since 2001, mainly funky house.
Lifetime practioner of Yoga with a love for Vinyasa, Hatha and regular saunas.
Wife to Alex, and mum to two awesome kids.
